Stormtokt

Strophe 1

Tunge skyer over fjell og fjord

Ravnens skrik langs blodrød jord

Øks og skjold i faderarv

Salt av hav i sprukken skarv

Refrain

Stormtokt! Storm i årebrann

Roper navn fra dyp og land

Stormtokt! brødre

Bryt all ro

Tramp i jord til fjell går to

Strophe 2

Gamle runer risses

Skarpt og kaldt

Senetau mot knokkel

Grep om stål så hardt

Mødres rop i minnet

Ulv i brustet ler

Bålet brenner stille før alt rives ned

Refrain

Stormtokt! Storm i årebrann

Roper navn fra dyp og land

Stormtokt! brødre

Bryt all ro

Tramp i jord til fjell går to

Bridge

Hør den hule lur som kaller (hey!)

Slag i jord og skjold som faller (hey!)

Navnløs mann

Du fødes her

I skum av strid og sjø og sperr

Refrain

Stormtokt! Storm i årebrann

Roper navn fra dyp og land

Stormtokt! brødre

Bryt all ro

Tramp i jord til fjell går to (hey!)

Strophe 1

Heavy clouds over mountain and fjord

The raven's cry across blood-red earth

Axe and shield, our fathers' legacy

Sea salt on the cracked rocks

Refrain

Storm raid! Storm in the fire of oars

Calling names from sea and land

Storm raid! Brothers

Break all calm

Stamp the earth till the mountains split in two

Strophe 2

Ancient runes are carved

Sharp and cold

Sinew rope against bone

A grip on steel so hard

Mothers' cries in memory

The wolf laughs in the broken breast

The fire burns quietly before all is torn down

Refrain

Storm raid! Storm in the fire of oars

Calling names from sea and land

Storm raid! Brothers

Break all calm

Stamp the earth till the mountains split in two

Bridge

Hear the hollow lur that calls (hey!)

Blows on the earth and shields that fall (hey!)

Nameless man

You are born here

In the foam of battle, sea and spear

Refrain

Storm raid! Storm in the fire of oars

Calling names from sea and land

Storm raid! Brothers

Break all calm

Stamp the earth till the mountains split in two (hey!)

Strophe 1

Schwere Wolken über Berg und Fjord

Der Schrei des Raben über blutroter Erde

Axt und Schild, das Erbe der Väter

Meersalz auf zersprungenem Fels

Refrain

Sturmzug! Sturm im Ruderbrand

Rufen Namen aus Tiefe und Land

Sturmzug! Brüder

Brecht die Ruhe

Stampft die Erde, bis die Berge bersten

Strophe 2

Alte Runen werden geritzt

Scharf und kalt

Sehnenseil an Knochen

Ein Griff um Stahl, so hart

Der Mütter Schreie in Erinnerung

Der Wolf lacht in der gebrochenen Brust

Das Feuer brennt still, bevor alles niedergerissen wird

Refrain

Sturmzug! Sturm im Ruderbrand

Rufen Namen aus Tiefe und Land

Sturmzug! Brüder

Brecht die Ruhe

Stampft die Erde, bis die Berge bersten

Bridge

Hör die hohle Lure, die ruft (hey!)

Schläge auf die Erde und Schilde, die fallen (hey!)

Namenloser Mann

Du wirst hier geboren

Im Schaum von Kampf und See und Speer

Refrain

Sturmzug! Sturm im Ruderbrand

Rufen Namen aus Tiefe und Land

Sturmzug! Brüder

Brecht die Ruhe

Stampft die Erde, bis die Berge bersten (hey!)
